You can use the job title
(ie driver) keywords, post code or company name (ie HSBC) to search for your target job.
Keywords can be specific job titles or required skills for an industry e.g.
'Mechanic', 'Midwife' or 'Electrician'. If you use a keyword which is broader,
such as ‘Electrical’, the Job Search will return other relevant suggestions e.g.
‘Electrical Fitter’. Whether you enter one or more keywords,
the search will return vacancies that include your keywords within the job title
and/or job description.
Location and Company
If you have a specific geographic area you
want to work in you can search using the town, city, zip or postcode. If you
have a specific company in mind you can search by entering the company name (ie
eBay, McDonalds).
Results per page
This varies how many jobs using your job title or keywords that are
advertised at any one time. Jobs are displayed on the fly what that
means is that every time you do a search new jobs are shown on the
results.
Can I search more more than one country at the
same time?
No. You can only search one country at a time. Once you have clicked on
the country flag the search will only show jobs advertised in that
particular country.
How do I get in
contact with job advertisers?
Click on the ‘apply’ button
on the job advert page. Most advertisers prefer to accept applications
via their own website. The advertiser will normally respond
with an e-mail. Contained in the body of their e-mail will be the best ways to
contact them. It is now up to you to initiate contact with the advertiser.
When do I begin to get replies to my inquiry?
The responses
time can vary, you may get replies in minutes or you may get replies over a
number of days. There is no obligation to accept any job offered.
Why can't the search I made recognise my location?
By far the most common reason for
this is misspellings. Double check your location to make sure you spelt the
place name or entered the zip or postcode correctly.
