The idea is to have an easy way for anyone to have a way to advertise their
business and themselves for a period of time for a very minimal cost and at the
same time help the charity..
Pixels are available in 100-pixel "blocks" (each measuring 10x10 pixels). If you took the time to count each block, you would see that there are 1000x1000 blocks, equaling a total of 10,000 blocks, which equals 1,000,000 pixels in total). The reason for selling them in 100-pixel blocks is because anything smaller would be too hard to focus in on with a mouse, as well as the human-eye.
You can buy as many pixels as you like, as long as there are some available. When you buy some pixels, you can then display an image/property/logo of your choice in the space you have purchased. The image will also serve as a link to your own website.
The blocks of space will be yours forever, and the homepage will never change. I guarantee that the site will be fully functional for no less than 5 years.
2. What am I paying for?
Your block will be made up of two things. A picture and a link to your personal website.
The picture can either be of you or your company logo (no inappropriate images please). The picture you submit can be changed, but it must remain online for no less than 6 months. If you wish to change your picture, please email a new picture to us.
The blocks of space will be yours forever, and the homepage will never change. I guarantee that the site will be fully functional for no less than 5 years.
3. Why can't I buy one single pixel?
The site is for you to help promote yourself as an agent, as well as a way for individuals to search for homes in their area. For that to happen effectively, an agent have to pay more to have a meaningful graphic on the homepage, which is the reason for the minimum purchase of $100 (10x10 block).
But if you really only want a single pixel, talk to your friends or collegues and collect $100 and advertise a 10x10 block.
4. How long will the site be online?
The idea is to create an advertising space for people and small businesses who actually want traffic on their site, that will last as long as they do, with the ability to switch out photos, the ads will never be boring and static, but the owner will never change.
5. How is this site different?
On our site, not only do you pay for your block, you also get an image pop-up
that people can easily see as they scroll over the blocks. Why only be a small
block on the page, when you can also have a much better advertising field with
the pop-ups. You are also helping the charity.
We are the only pixel site that allows you to change your image. Many times your business ideas, logos, or merchadise change, and we feel that if you own a block, you should be able to have the freedom to change along with your business.
